Postosuchus Sandtray Miniature for Play Therapy


This cool looking dionsaur will be perfect for sandtray therapy! He was a large predator that roamed North America in the early  age of the dinosaurs, approximately 120 million years ago. This dino was a reptile  not a dinosaur, named rauisuchid. Postosuchus was the largest predator in its dinosaur world.

  • Characteristics: Postosuchus was a carnivoe or meat eater, rauisuchid reptile with a large serrated dagger teeth, and deep snout.  Unusually for a reptile it had an upright stance and straight legs. It could walk on its longer back legs, or sometimes on all fours. It had four toed feet and five-toed hands and a long tail. It had bony scutes distributed in rows along the top if its back and tail. Large adults reached up to 14 feet long.
  • Size and Color: This meticulously detailed figure is seven inches long and two and a half inches high. It has pattered dark brown and light brown skin.
