The Empathy Card Game

  • Help children understand how other people feel, act and think.
  • Helps children practice reading nonverbal cues

Created  by Lawrence E. Shapiro, Ph.D. These Cards teach Children to understand how other people feel and think. These cards allow children to act more appropriately and enjoy richer social relationships. These cards are designed to help players recognize the importance of empathy, a central component of emotional intelligence.

Children try to read other players’ nonverbal cues and then they guess how they’ve responded to the Question Cards, they practice this skill in a repetitive and fun way. Creating Compassion and  understanding, allowing for acceptance and empathy- all in one game!
